2010 Minors League : K - 1st Grade

The Minors league is for Kindergarten & 1st graders and is meant to be a non-competitive league emphasizing fundamentals and "having fun".   Games are 3 innings long and all players have an opportunity to bat each inning.   A "safety" baseball is used and coaches will pitch to their own batters.   Scores are not kept for these games although it is almost guaranteed that each team's players believe they have "won" the game!

Teams will be formed in Rogers & Otsego and will have opportunities to play each other at various times during the season.   We will do our best to place players on teams with kids from their own neighborhood/school.  If you have any specific requests to be on a team with another player, put that request in the comments field of the registration form and we'll do our best to accomodate ( no guarantees ).

The regular season runs from May to mid-July.  There is a mid-season Jamboree scheduled for Saturday, June 5 & Sunday, June 6, 2010.  Each team will play one game on each day of the Jamboree at the beautiful Rogers North Community Park (NCP).

Games are scheduled to be played on Monday nights and game times are 6:30PM.    Practices are scheduled by individual coaches.  You will be notified of your practice and game times by your head coach in late April after teams are formed.
