2010 Rogers 8th-9th Grade House League
The 8th and 9th graders are combined into one league and teams will be placed into the Gopher State NorthStar House League. The NorthStar league is comprised of House league teams from surrounding communities such as Elk River, Zimmerman, Anoka-Ramsey and others.
This league plays on "full size" fields ( 90ft bases/ 60ft pitching mounds). Players must go through an evaluation process and then coaches will "draft" players for their teams. This is meant to keep a "competitive balance" throughout the league.

Game nights and times are dictated by the Gopher State Northstar League. Practices are scheduled by individual coaches. You will be notified by your coach of your practice and game times once the team drafts are completed in early May. The regular season is tentatively set to begin the week of May 10or 17, 2010
NOTE: Due to the large number of teams in the Gopher State Northstar League, they do NOT include season ending playoffs in their schedue. It is up to local communities to schedule playoffs if they so desire. We are tentatively planning to have playoffs in Rogers in late July, 2009 if the schedules can be worked out.
