2010 Rogers 5th-6th Grade House League
The 5th - 6th Grade House league is for 5th & 6th graders and continues to incorporate more baseball scenarios such as stealing and pick-offs. Players must go through an evaluation process in late April and then coaches will "draft" players for their teams. This is meant to keep a "competitive balance" throughout the league. Teams are formed in both the Rogers & Elk River Areas. These teams will play against each other in a regular season schedule. There are also end of year playoffs.
A new evaluation process will be used in 2010! See the House/Travel Evaluation/Tryout Process page for details.
See the evaluation date/time/locations here --> House League Evals
There will be 2 games per week but not necessarily always on the same days. Game start times may also vary. Practices are scheduled by individual coaches. You will be notified by your coach of your practice and game times once the team drafts are completed in late April.
Rogers Area Youth Baseball in conjunction with Area 728 Youth Baseball establishes and enforces the rules for this league consistent with the player's ability and age level. Playoffs will be scheduled for mid to late July.
